The highest prices in former-Blloku, Manhattan of Tirana Increase of the prices in the last 4 years. Growing new constructions in suburb of Tirana
Residence apartments most of the time is the most important asset for the Albanian families, meanwhile financial activities that associate with the construction and buying-selling of real estate represent a high percentage of expenses of constructions companies and national income. That’s one of the reasons why was published the market study of residence apartments for the years 1993-2008. Another reason is to show the price movement and the factors and that have affected in this price movement.
Period 1993-1996
In the year 1993 the privatization of State Residence was accomplished. In this way the buying-selling of apartments started. The apartments market was created with its characteristic and features that were as different and on the other hand as interesting. Then the center of Tirana was very preferable and (Ish-Blloku) wasn’t constructed yet. The price of one apartment in the center of Tirana was nearly 70% higher than an apartment in the suburb (like in Kinostudio, in Laprake, former-Kombinati i Tekstileve)
